Molecular Biology/ Nanobiotechnology Lab supports the research activities of faculty members and students working in the field of molecular biology, and nanobiotechnology.  Several undergraduates, postgraduates and project students working at the interface of their parent discipline and Biotechnology, makes seamless use of laboratory facilities. This facility mainly focuses on DNA isolation, PCR based amplification, synthesis of silver, iron oxide and gold nanostructures. The laboratory is currently equipped with BOD, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with accessories, UV Transilluminator, Magnetic Stirrer with Hot plate, pH Meter, electronic weighing balance, Haematology auto analyzar, Microscope, Horizontal Gel Electrophoresis, Gradient Thermo cycler, Bio Red (PCR), Digital colony counter.
