CAD LABORATORY AND BENTLEY CENTER OF EXCELANCE

The CAD Laboratory of this department is an advance computer software lab where all students, research scholars and faculty members can work with the sophisticated software. This lab is to primarily facilitate students to evolve concepts and convert them into a complete product. The CAD Laboratory has a total number of 50 computers (desktops and workstations) with the latest configurations connected with a high-end server through switched networking. The lab covers MICROSTATION for Building information Modeling (BIM), STAAD Pro Connect edition and RAM(Structure analysis and design software), PLAXIS 2D and 3D (Geotechnical software for analyzing and designing foundations), Water Gems, and Sewer Gems covering water supply and sewerage systems, MX Road covered all the aspect of Transportation Engineering, AutoPLANT and AXSYS for Plant Design. It also covers working on Project Planning and Management software’s like Primavera P-6 & MS Project latest versions to make our students well versed with analysis and design of structures and also inculcates managerial skills.
