peed club works in association with the SAE GLAU Collegiate club. As the name itself gives a direction that the students who are speed enthusiasts, may take part in this club and come up with Speedier automotive ideas. Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) registered as a nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility. It is a U.S.-based, globally active professional association and standards developing organization for engineering professionals in various industries. Principal emphasis is placed on transport industries such as automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicles. SAE- GLAU is the collegiate chapter associated with this international society.
It thrives to promote the curiosity among the automobile enthusiasts to do something innovative that may contribute to the society in terms of green mobility or other sustainable developments in the automobile field. The associated students work with the in house CAR(Centre for Automotive Research). A number of students have participated and performed commendable in various National level auto events. The faculty mentors closely motivate and promote the students to bring their creativity out of their brain to the workshop. A number of university level events are organized by the club around the academic year.
