Smart Traffic Control System
In this project we had controlled the traffic according the density of traffic on that lane. Density based traffic control means the lane which has more traffic will get green signal for much greater time and accordingly for lesser traffic. Along with this we also have uploaded traffic density on cloud so that vehicles coming on that route can have a idea how much traffic is on their way just like a Google map. However, it works in different way.
Signal times can be optimized in real time over a network of roads. As this data is fed to the cloud, external systems can perform data analytics on the stream to identify trends and patterns. Emergency situations can be addressed efficiently. This may include plotting routes for ambulance and fire brigades.
