IEEE WIE Club

The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is commonly known as IEEE. In a quest to promote women engineers and scientists, IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) functions as one of the largest global IEEE networks. It comprises IEEE member and volunteers. Apart from the women scientists & engineers, the group also inspires budding girl engineers to follow their academic interests and find their goals.

Many universities work with the IEEE WIE. IEEE WIE has many branches in Africa, Latin America, the US, Asia, and many other regions all over the world. In India, many universities like Banasthali University (which promotes girl education) collaborate with IEEE WIE. GLA University is one of them too.
