Institute of Legal Studies & Research (ILSR), GLA University has set up the Center for Banking, Insurance and Securities Market (CBISM) to create and disseminate knowledge in the area of banking, insurance and securities market. The mission of the Centre Center for Banking, Insurance and Securities Market (CBISM) is to support advanced legal research in financial markets and equip legal managers with the conceptual theories and paramount legal practices in financial markets that go into the creation and management of innovative practice. (CBISM) concentrates on the issue of Investor-traders, stakeholders in the market and carries out research, teaching as well as training activities on the important dimensions of the banking, insurance and securities market.

The objective behind setting up of this Center for Banking, Insurance and Securities Market (CBISM) under the aegis of Institute of Legal Studies & Research (ILSR), GLA University is to deal with current practical socio-legal concerns and to forefront investor-trader friendly market in India. It is to undertake and promote advanced study and research in the emerging trends relating to this area.

Advisory Board

Mr. Prabhat Kumar Mishra is a Company Secretary having more than 18 years of extensive exposure in the Corporate Sector and has been involved in Corporate Compliance Management of Public Listed Companies especially Corporate Law Compliances, Securities Law Compliances, FEMA Compliances, Compliances under SEBI (RTA) Regulations. He has tremendous experience dealing with key stakeholders in Compliances, Investor Relations, Liasoning with the Auditors, Banks, Stock Exchanges, Statutory Authorities, etc.

Presently, he is the Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary in Jaykay Enterprises Ltd. (Erstwhile J.K. Synthetics Ltd.), Kanpur. He is Leading a team of professionals in the Company's Legal Department. He has successfully handled the task of drafting and vetting J.V. Agreements with Foreign Entity and advising on Foreign Direct Investment for foreign Joint Venture formation. He guides the corporate board on various strategic, governance and compliance issues related to banking and finance.
