Dr. Gupta's expertise lies in integrating multi-omics, computational, and interdisciplinary approaches to dissect host–parasite interactions that drive diverse clinical manifestations of malaria and in translating these insights into robust biomarkers for early diagnosis and therapeutic interventions. He has strategically expanded this expertise to arboviral infections and pterygium, which are diseases of high regional relevance in the Braj region and of growing public health importance across India, thereby aligning advanced discovery science with local and national health priorities.
