Mr. Aurindam Chakraborty is a faculty member at the Institute of Business Management, GLA University, specializing in Finance, Business Analytics, and Decision Sciences. An MBA in Finance, UGC–NET qualified, and currently pursuing his PhD in Finance, he aligns his research with the application of data science tools in analytical decision-making. He brings prior industry experience in data science, analytics, and consulting, enabling him to connect classroom learning with real-world problem-solving. He has completed the Executive PG Certification in Data Science & AI from IIT Roorkee and has been recognized with the Dr. J. Sen Memorial Prize and Dr. P.R. Das Memorial Medal for academic excellence. His work focuses on bridging the gap between theory and practice, helping students develop strong quantitative and decision-oriented thinking skills.
