Dr. Shruti Agrawal is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Happiness Economics, Well-Being Economies, and Beyond GDP paradigms. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics at GLA University, Mathura, she brings a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Dr. Agrawal earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, where she developed innovative economic models that integrate happiness metrics into traditional economic frameworks. Her professional journey includes a significant tenure as a Senior Research Associate at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, where she contributed to the preparation of the Urban Memorandum for India's 16th Finance Commission. She also worked as an Associate Researcher at the Erasmus Happiness Economics Research Organisation (EHERO), Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on the intersection of happiness and social bonds under the mentorship of Prof. Ruut Veenhoven.
