The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP – B.Sc. B.Ed.) is a four-year innovative and multidisciplinary course that serves as a gateway to becoming a knowledgeable, skilled, disciplined, and creative school teacher in India. It equips aspiring educators with the right blend of scientific understanding, pedagogical skills, and professional ethics required to handle the dynamic responsibilities of teaching young learners effectively.
The programme aims to produce teachers who not only impart knowledge but also create joyful, experiential, and value-based learning environments. It trains them to nurture curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among children while fostering emotional and moral development. Alongside classroom teaching, the course also prepares teachers to efficiently handle school administrative and co-curricular responsibilities with dedication and commitment.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Science, securing at least 50% marks from a recognised board.
Academic Fee
- 1st Year : INR. 35,000/-
- 2nd Year : INR. 35,000/-
- 3rd Year : INR. 35,000/-
- 4th Year : INR. 35,000/-
Scholarship
Those students whose parents annual income is less then Rs. 2 lakh are eligible to avail scholarship through social welfare department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) of UP Govt.
Note: The scholarship amount received in the first year will be applicable for all subsequent years. The student must maintain a minimum CPI of 8.00 to avail the scholarship in the next year of his/her studies.
