GLA University, Mathura is one of the leading
multi-disciplinary universities of India.

Founded in 1998 with a vision of excellence in education, research, innovation and social impact.

The University has grown into a full-fledged institution over the past two decades, offering education to its students at international level in engineering, management, pharmacy, law, agriculture, education, science, humanities and new technologies.

GLA University has come a long way and become a world class academic institution. Since its inception in 1998, the University has gradually extended its academic departments with the addition of the Institute of Technology and Management, the Institute of Business Management, the Institute of Professional Studies and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research. The University is now a full-fledged multidisciplinary institution with a Faculty of Education, a Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and an Institute of Legal Studies and Research.

The most noteworthy achievement of the University is its recognition as a university in 2010. This has allowed the University to enjoy more academic independence and to offer programs within the curriculum on the basis of the worldwide standards. GLA University has once again enhanced its access to outstanding education. In 2022, the Center for Distance and Online Education was founded and in 2024, the Greater Noida Off-site was launched, reaffirming its commitment to flexible, technology-enabled study beyond the Mathura site.

The University has received many renowned accreditations, due to its continued focus on quality.

GLA University was awarded ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in 2017 and ‘A+’ Grade with CGPA 3.46/4 in 2022. This distinction is based on its teaching & learning, research, governance, infrastructure and student assistance.

The GLA University has students from numerous nations including India, running into thousands. The University collaborates with the industry, international corporations, research institutes and academic institutions and gives students an opportunity to get exposed to the industry through live projects, internships, industry certifications, entrepreneurship and improved placements.
