प्रवर्तनीया सद्विद्या भुवि यत्सुकृतं महत्
The inspiration, the value, the belief, the standard and the vision enshrined in the above quotation come from the noted philanthropist and social worker, Late Shri Ganeshi Lal Ji Agrawal.
The spark he ignited has slowly but surely transformed into an illuminating star guiding those who aspire to seek excellence in learning and education.
In 1998, Shri Narayan Das Agrawal chose to honour the vision of his father, Late Shri Ganeshi Lal Agrawal, by building an institution that would deliver quality education not only to the region, but far beyond it. With this purpose, he established the Sri Jagannath Prasad Ganeshi Lal Bajaj Charitable Trust Samiti and laid the foundation of what would become GLA University.
Set in the sacred city of Mathura, the karmabhoomi of Lord Krishna, GLA was envisioned as more than a university. It was designed as a destination for knowledge seekers.
Overall Placement in Past 5 Years
Alumni Settled across the Globe
Faculty Members from Global Institutions
Students Enrolled in Different Courses
Today, GLA University stands as a respected centre of academic strength, innovation, and character, shaping professionals who lead with competence and conscience.

To be a pace-setting university known for academic excellence, meaningful research and progressive development across established and emerging professions.
To deliver quality professional education that is relevant, rigorous and future ready.
To advance research and consultancy that responds to evolving socio economic needs.
To continuously refine the teaching and learning experience, setting benchmarks others aspire to follow.
To remain student centric, nurturing both intellect and personality so that graduates emerge as capable professionals and responsible global citizens.
To empower faculty and staff, fostering a culture of harmony, mutual respect and collaborative growth.
To actively seek feedback and evolve with purpose, ensuring excellence remains a continuous journey.
The university was established with the vision of Shri Ganeshi Lal Agrawal to make Mathura a recognized destination for quality education.
When I began this journey, it was driven by a simple yet powerful belief that quality education can transform lives. GLA University was established to honour my father’s vision and to create opportunities for young minds who aspire to build meaningful careers in both established and emerging fields.

Prayaas is where care turns into action. Launched in 2014, this heartfelt initiative by GLA University was created with one simple purpose: to uplift young minds and the teachers who guide them.

At GLA University, education does not stop at the classroom door. The National Service Scheme Cell turns learning into responsibility. Led by the Department of Education, students actively raise awareness on issues such as child abuse, illiteracy, alcoholism, and corruption.

Udaan began in 2012 when a group of GLA University students decided to teach underprivileged children living near the campus. What started as a small effort soon grew into a registered organisation in 2016.

Through Shiksha Kaya Kalp, GLA University extends its academic strength beyond campus walls. The University has adopted five government schools in nearby rural areas to support academic progress and holistic development.

Ujjwal Braj represents the spirit of responsible youth. Since 2015, students of GLA University have led cleanliness drives around Goverdhan Hill and the sacred Goverdhan Parikrama Marg.

GLA University believes progress must respect history. To preserve the cultural legacy of the region, the University has adopted Raskhan and Tajbibi Samadhi in Gokul, Kusum Sarovar in Goverdhan, Brahma Kund in Vrindavan, and Ramtal in Vrindavan.
