Student-Led Biotechnology Innovation
The Biotech Club at GLA University (GLAU), established in 2023 under the mentorship of Dr. Himanshu Gupta, is a student-led initiative by the Department of Biotechnology. The club aims to promote science, animal welfare, and social and mental wellness while bridging the gap between academia and the biotech industry. Promote Science and Animal Welfare: Raise awareness and knowledge about scientific advancements and animal welfare within and beyond the university campus. Enhance Social and Mental Wellness: Advocate for and support social and mental well-being through various activities and initiatives. Bridge Academia and Industry: Provide students with education, skills, and networking opportunities to connect with the biotech industry and academic scientists and professors.
