The laboratory is dedicated to development of herbal molecules having anticancer and antiviral potential. This lab has all state of art facilities including CO2 Incubator, Biosafety cabinet, centrifuge, inverted microscope that are used in the research on Cancer and Virology. We have cell culture media (DMEM, MEM and RPMI-1640), fetal bovine serum(FBS), antibiotics(Penicillin/Streptomycin), trypsin and other reagents needed for doing cell culture. Presently, we are maintaining and culturing 3 cell lines (A431, Colo 320 DM and L929 ) that include cancer cell lines and fibroblasts in the Cancer Biology and Virology Laboratory for doing the research work.
