The Department is likely to start BSc (H) Physics and M.Sc in Physics programs from the academic year 2019-20. The department has been offering PhD Program in the department has been existing from since 2011 and running successfully with good number of intake.
The Department offers all the courses based on job oriented programs for undergraduate and post-graduate students. Since basic understanding, to the least, is critically important for almost all the major branches of Engineering, a requisite knowledge of the subject is imparted by the department which can be applied in all branches of engineering as well as in research and development programs.
The Department has theoretical and experimental facilities for carrying out the research work in thrust areas of research in physics. After completing the courses of the department, the students are able to land good jobs and are also getting into higher studies in national and international institutions.
