The mission of the Centre Center for Banking, Insurance and Securities Market (CBISM) is to support advanced legal research in financial markets and equip legal managers with the conceptual theories and paramount legal practices in financial markets that go into the creation and management of innovative practice. (CBISM) concentrates on the issue of Investor-traders, stakeholders in the market and carries out research, teaching as well as training activities on the important dimensions of the banking, insurance and securities market.
The objective behind setting up of this Center for Banking, Insurance and Securities Market (CBISM) under the aegis of Institute of Legal Studies & Research (ILSR), GLA University is to deal with current practical socio-legal concerns and to forefront investor-trader friendly market in India. It is to undertake and promote advanced study and research in the emerging trends relating to this area.
