Research Interest

  • Ph.D Thesis Title: “Experimental and Theoretical Studies of BiVO4 and related materials for Photoelectrochemical Splitting of Water and Hydrogen Generation”.
    The Objective of the thesis involves preparation and characterization of nanomaterials for Efficient Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting. The study includes bulk and surface calculations of binary or ternary oxides with dopant as well as with oxygen vacancy by DFT using Quantum espresso package under guidance of Prof. Umesh V. Waghmare (Head, Theoretical Sciences Unit, JNCASR, Bangalore) and experimental validation of theoretical results under supervision of Prof. SahabDass (Head, Dept. of Chemistry, D.E.I., Agra).
  • Current Topic of Interest: Solar hydrogen production by water splitting, DFT calculations, semiconductor material doping.
