Ph. D Research Guide

Four research scholars submitted Ph. D thesis under my supervision registered at Birla Institute of Technology, MESRA, Ranchi. The research work focused the following:

  • A study of business process re-engineering in banks in India. This study focuses on the process and implementation of BPR in commercial banks. It analyzed various impediments and impacts of BPR implementation on profitability, performance and efficiency of customer services in banks. (Ph. D awarded).
  • A study of effectiveness of customer relationship management system for cross selling in changing banking environment. The objective of the research study is to analyze the impact of CRM on business growth and enhancement of business turnover and profitability on account of cross selling. (Ph. D awarded).
  • Effectiveness of ERP implementation in financial management in oil sector companies. (Ph. D awarded).
  • A study on post-merger integration and its impact on productivity and profitability of acquiring organization. (Final viva-voice to be scheduled).

Three students have registered for Ph. D under my supervision from Jamia Hamdard University New Delhi.

Conducted good number of MDPs in Finance area and general management for corporate professionals and middle and top level business Managers. Also conducted several customized (in-house) industry programs. The areas broadly covered derivatives and risk management, project appraisal, Advanced Financial Management, finance for non-finance professionals and general management topics. The MDPs conducted were well recognized and received much appreciation.
