This lab provides an understanding of the working principle and performance analysis of various refrigerating and air conditioning equipment. There are various experimental set up in the lab like Domestic refrigeration experimental set up, Window air conditioning experimental set up, Split air conditioning experimental set up, Cascade refrigeration experimental set up, Ice plant trainer, Vapor absorption refrigeration experimental set up, Vapor compression refrigeration experimental set up, and Air conditioning experimental set up. These experimental set-ups describe the arrangement of various parts and their working principle also. All the parts of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment are available on the display board for a better understanding of students. Cut-section models of various parts are available in the lab which provides the in-depth learning and insights of the system. Students are trained to analyze the performance of all the equipment of the lab.
