About Organizing Institute:

Situated in Northern India, GLA University is one of the top universities in the country. In 1998, our current chancellor, Shri Narayan Das Agrawal, founded the institution. The chancellor saw GLA as a high-caliber university that would meet the demands of local and international youth in terms of higher education. Under the U.P. State Legislative Act of 2009 (UP Act 21 of 2010), the institute was granted university status. The university was authorized under UGC-12B in 2019 and received a "A+" accreditation from the NAAC in 2023. The GLA University Institute of Pharmaceutical Research recently achieved the 54th rank in the NIRF, 2023. It is spread across 110 acres of land and is home to more than 12,000 students enrolled in a variety of professional courses.

The Uttar Pradesh Technical University recognized the GLA Institute of Pharmaceutical Research as a college when it was founded in 2006. It was absorbed into GLA University, Mathura in 2010. After a decade and a half, the institute has grown into a fully functional department that trains students who aspire to become pharmacists and gives them the best possible environment in which to advance their abilities in a world that is becoming more and more demanding and competitive. Excellent research is continuously produced by the institute. With extensive backgrounds in both academia and research, the department's faculty members are exceptionally skilled. D. Pharm., B. Pharm. M. Pharm., and Ph. D.programs are available at the institute. The well-equipped infrastructure facilities with full access cater the adequate experience to students for the development of a professional career in the Pharmacy profession. The institute is constantly decisive in educating the pharmacy professionals of tomorrow by integrating theoretical and practical knowledge.

About Mathura:

Mathura is a holy city for Hindus (the world's third-largest religion) which is located on the bank of the river Yamuna. There are many places of historic and religious importance in Mathura and its neighboring towns. The Twin city of Mathura is Vrindavan. As the home of the deity Lord Krishna in his youth, the small town is host to a multitude of temples belonging to various sects of Hinduism proclaiming Krishna in various forms and avatars. It is one of the Sapta Puri, the seven cities considered holy places by Hindus. Mathura has contributed a lot to Indian Culture through its rich heritage. The Braj culture has been expressed widely through various practices. Sanjhee is the colorful art of decorating the ground with flowers. Mathura has been chosen as one of the sacred places by Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana scheme of the Government of India.
