The department is currently offering M.tech in production engineering and Ph.D. in various areas like thermal engineering, design engineering, product design, product development, CAD, manufacturing, refrigerating, regenerative manufacturing, unconventional energy sector, smart materials, and material properties enhancements.
The department is having many experienced faculty members having exposure to various IITs / NITs academic system. Who are always ready to quench the thrust of scholars towards research even dedicated to enhancing their morale.
The department is having various labs for catering research solutions like Robotics, Mechatronics, Drones, Go-Karts, Automobile engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, Composites, etc. Software that is being available is MATLAB, Creo, Ansys, CFD analysis, etc.
The department is having MoU’s with various government and non-government organizations like ministry of MSME , National Institute of Design Ahmedabad , MSME Technology Development Centre etc. to provide assistant research scholar as and when required.
