Students who live with their family and others who lives in their own city regularly feel that their companions are in better place as they live alone and get the opportunity to do whatever they need. But in reality it is totally different; everyone is having their own thinking about others.
Ask those students who live away from their family and have to manage everything on their own. Nothing is easy in life; they get to learn this lesson very early. Students coming out of their city have to adjust in many ways. They get in touch with a new aura, environment, people, food, friends, life etc. Many students find themselves in a great mess dealing with the world all by themselves.
But there are certain ways by which adjusting to new surrounding will become easy. If you are face the same problem, then please stop feeling that no one is around them to support. To be honest, people thrive through really odd times in life.
It is just your approach which changes things. Get to learn the things in new environment. How people like you are thriving? What is the nearest mall or shopping complex you have? What if you are in some emergency, where to call? At which point your favorite food is available.
Try making lot many friends. Listen, observe and keep an open mind. You will be unfamiliar with the language styles over there, but not the etiquette's you should have. Ask questions and seek clarification. Don't feel apologetic in telling when you are comfortable and when not. Having said that, it doesn't mean that you should be rude. Try getting adjusting. Keep in touch with your parents on phone. Its always very pacifying if you keep venting out your feelings with some friends or someone at home.
