Microprocessor Lab

This is a hands-on programming lab where students will learn about microprocessors, their architecture, and programming. Microprocessors are the building blocks of modern computing devices, and they are everywhere around us, from our smartphones to our cars. Understanding microprocessors is crucial for anyone interested in computer engineering or science. In this lab, students will work with the Intel 8085 microprocessor. They will learn how to write assembly language programs, assemble and run them using a software simulator, and debug them using a logic analyzer. They will also learn about various peripherals and interface devices that can be used with the 8085.By the end of this lab, students will have a solid understanding of the basics of microprocessors and how to work with them. They will gain valuable experience in programming, debugging, and using hardware and software tools to design and test microprocessor-based systems.
