Automation isn’t just found in plants and factories. It’s all around us. From the phone calls we make, to how we heat our homes, to the roads we travel, automation is an integral part of everyday living.

The Automation finds its role in various domain of industries such as Aerospace, Cement, Food, Electrical Vehicles, HVAC controls, smart elevators, robotics and many others. Department of Electrical engineering imparts the PLC and automation skill in technical collaboration with Rockwell Automation Inc. USA.

The main objective of this lab is make students learn how AC and servo drives along with, intelligent devices for motor control, feedback and protection leverage your automation investment to reduce start-up time, provide energy savings, and optimize production.
