About University

GLA University (NAAC Accredited 'A'), Mathura has been established under the U.P. State Legislative Act of 2009 (UP Act 21 of 2010). Spread across 110 acres of land, the university is home to more than 10,000 students enrolled in a variety of professional courses. Well designed and maintained buildings, contemporary laboratories, spacious residential complexes and recreational facilities make the GLA campus one of the best in the region providing its students an ideal environment to hone their skills in an increasingly competitive and demanding world.
Department of Computer Engineering & Applications is the nerve centre of the University. The Department believes that Education is the cornerstone to economic development and which alone can assist build India into a developed nation. Over the years it has established itself into a separate department. The department with the passage of its evolution and growth has succeeded in creating its place of excellence not only within the college but among its counterparts in the country and abroad. It has been attracting bright students from all parts of the country for quality education in computer science at under graduate, post graduate and doctoral levels.

About AIVP

Image processing is a growing research field where many revolutionary ideas and efficient algorithms have been developed over the past few decades.
The objective of this workshop is to introduce the participants to the world of Digital Image Processing and give an insight on how and where it can be used. This workshop will be useful to learn the fundamentals of Digital Processing of satellite image data and biomedical image data.
Hands on exercises with MATLAB and OPENCV software will open a door for programming in image processing. Exposure to recent concepts of Video Surveillance, Video Forgery, Satellite, Biomedical and Industrial image processing will also be possible during the workshop.
The workshop is designed for teachers of degree level technical institutions, Graduates and Research Scholars of Engineering Institutions and Industry Professionals. The workshop has been designed to cover both theoretical as well as the practical concepts in the respective emerging fields of Computer Science along with the tools and simulators useful for the participants for their Training, Projects, and Research Work.
