Department of Computer Engineering & Applications is the nerve centre of the University. The Department believes that Education is the cornerstone to economic development and which alone can assist build India into a developed nation. Over the years it has established itself into a separate department. The department with the passage of its evolution and growth has succeeded in creating its place of excellence not only within the college but among its counterparts in the country and abroad. It has been attracting bright students from all parts of the country for quality education in computer science at under graduate, post graduate and doctoral levels.
The resource persons for the course shall be the faculty of IIT's / IIIT's / NIT's along with persons from the Industry. List of Resource Person are given below:
Prof. Rajeev Srivastava is working as an Professor in the Department of Computer Science &Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He received his B.E. in Computer Engineering from Gorakhpur University, India, his M.E. degree in Computer Technology and Applications and PhD degree in Computer Engineering both from the University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He has around 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has around 80 research publications to his credit. He has also authored one book and edited two books in the areas of image processing and computer vision published from internationally reputed publishers from Germany, and USA. His research interests include image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, and algorithms.
Prof. Satish Chand is working as an Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science,JNU, Delhi, India. He received his PhD from JNU, Delhi and M. Tech from IIT Kharagpur. He has around twenty years of teaching andresearch experience. He has published around 80 research papers in SCI journalsand conferences. His research interests include imageprocessing, medical image processing, features extraction and pattern classification.
Prof. R.Balasubramanian is working as an Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engg.,IIT Roorke,India. He received his PhD from IIT Madras. He has around twenty years of teaching and research experience. He has published around 100 research papers in SCI journalsand conferences. His research interests include Image Processing, Optical Flow and Video Analytics, Biometrics, Content Based Video Retrieval, Video Skimming and Summarization, and Medical Imaging.
